The event aims to present the customs and traditions of the Zgornjesavska Valley, its regional national costumes and cottage industry.
The locals put on their regional national costumes, several of which are over one hundred years old, and are more than happy to show them to the tourists and visitors.
Especially interesting is the presentation of manufacturing the “žoki”– original Rateče slippers. The zealous villagers demonstrate the complete procedure of how wool is processed and “žoki” made.
