On the first weekend of March, Kranjska Gora will once again breathe competitive skiing. At the renowned and challenging slope beneath Mount Vitranc, the Vitranc Cup will take place for the 65th consecutive year—one of the most prominent sporting events in Slovenia and an important stop on the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup circuit for men.

At our hotels, we like to say that some guests don’t come here for a holiday—they come home. Among them, Fikreta Sijerčić holds a very special place, having visited us faithfully for an incredible 30 years. Every winter, she returns with the same enthusiasm, warm smile, and contagious energy that is evident from the very first meeting.

The women's Alpine Skiing World Cup competition in Kranjska Gora holds a special place in Slovenian sports history. The Audi FIS World Cup, formerly known as the legendary Golden Fox (Zlata lisica), has for years combined tradition, top-level sport, and an incredible atmosphere of fan excitement.

We are proud that our »in-house« product – the booklet Kekec on Holiday – has received the Kranjska Gora Vrhunsko (the Kranjska Gora Top-Notch) certificate. And yes, we admit it… we’re walking a little taller with pride.

As tradition beautifully dictates, we once again enjoyed our traditional gathering for retirees at the beginning of December. And since December naturally calls for warmth, togetherness, and a touch of festive sparkle, we invited them to a shared lunch. This time, a truly special and festive feast was prepared by the team at Ramada Hotel & Suites (ex Prisank).

Children’s Week (6th–12th October 2025) this year was celebrated under the beautiful motto Kindness will give you wings, always say please and thank you!  Indeed, kindness, warmth, and sincere smiles are what heal our planet. This is especially true when it comes to children.

The legendary granddaughter of Slavko Avsenik recently filmed a new music video in our hotels, at the iconic Irish-style Pub Legende, located in the basement of our Ramada Hotel & Suites. Monika Avsenik’s musical journey was shaped by the rich legacy of her grandfather, as she recognized the depth of his artistry from a young age.

The school year has come to a successful close, and children can finally relax – afternoons without homework, mornings without loud alarms, and days free of tests and quizzes. Holidays are a time for relaxation, play, and adventure. So why not add one big, refreshing jump into the pool?
