The school year has come to a successful close, and children can finally relax – afternoons without homework, mornings without loud alarms, and days free of tests and quizzes. Holidays are a time for relaxation, play, and adventure.

If you have heard the jingling sound of retro bicycle bells and huron cheering last weekend in Kranjska Gora – you weren't dreaming! The event revolved around the 10th edition of the legendary Red Bull Goni Pony race, which once again took over our beautiful valley this year.

We’ve also jumped into a bit of “spring cleaning” this year – not just clearing out closets, drawers, and offices, but also paper. And once again, quite a pile has built up – to be exact, 455 kilograms!

And even though we live in a digital age, it’s surprising how much still happens on paper.

The legendary herbalist Pehta has been enchanting both young and old guests at our hotels for years with her magical mountain tales. This year, she has inspired us to create a heartfelt and original activity – Aunt Pehta’s Gardening Club – as part of our hotel animation program.

Our little town is hosting a very special sports event this week. In the large multipurpose Vitranc Hall in the heart of Kranjska Gora, you can hear cheers, falls, laughter, and the spirit of sport echoing through the space – that's because 180 young judokas and their coaches from various Slovenian clubs and associations are currently training there.

On Easter Saturday, we swapped mountain peaks for a sea breeze, our mid-season jackets for sunglasses, and headed straight for the coast – to Pomol okusov (Pear of delights) in Izola, which kicked off its season on that very day.

Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, was a day local children will carry in their hearts for a long time. They were invited to our Ramada Resort hotel for the presentation of a brand-new book, Kekec on Holiday, created by the talented (and big-hearted) members of our hotel animation team.

The final of the Ski Flying World Cup in Planica this year was more than just a sporting event. It was an explosion of cheering, connection, and flavor. A true experience, elevated by Domen Prevc's record-breaking flight—and enriched by our exceptional culinary offering across all three of our hotels.
